FAQs
Registration & Waitlist
The D3 Lacrosse Showcase understands that there will be some athletes still playing in their high school season when the event takes place. We also understand that certain states do not permit student-athletes to compete in showcases while their high school season is going on.
Regardless, we encourage you to sign up and claim your spot in the showcase as soon as possible. If you are unsure about your state’s eligibility rules, please check with your high school coach or your athletic director.
If your team does advance in the state playoffs, making you ineligible to compete in the showcase, we can issue you a full refund or credit towards another event. You must notify our team via email at info@d3lacrosseshowcase.com that you will not be able to compete in the D3 Showcase in order to receive a refund or credit. This will allow us to offer your spot to an athlete on the waitlist.
You can not register to play two positions. You must choose one position at the point of registration. However, if you would like to play multiple positions, we can list you as two different positions in the coaches books to let them know about your versatility. It is likely that you would get an opportunity to play both of those positions at the showcase, but would primarily play the position which you registered for. If this is the case, please email info@d3lacrosseshowcase.com.
Each team plays 3-games full field in a showcase format. There will not be playoffs, an all-star game, or any instructional sessions.
Each team will be coached by an active Division III college coach. You will remain with the same coach & team throughout the day. Not all the coaches attending will be coaching teams. The vast majority are there to just recruit. If a coach you are interested in is coaching another team, they still have several opportunities to see you play as they only coach 3 games throughout the day. Coaches will be on the sidelines recruiting when they are not with their team.
No! Not all schools have finalized their recruiting calendar yet. We are constantly adding more coaches to the list, even in the days right before the event. If there is a program that you are interested in that is not on the list, reach out to them & let them know you will be here so that they are aware and can come watch you play.
No, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate these requests due to possible NCAA violations.
Athletes will be placed on a team of roughly 17-20 athletes. You will be played with and against athletes of all age groups (2024-2026). There are between 350-450 total participants at each D3 Lacrosse Showcase that make up around 20 teams.
D3 Winter Showcase
Unfortunately no spectators, including parents and guardians, are allowed to attend the D3 Winter Showcase. No spectators will be permitted to attend with the exception of college coaches.
If your athlete is not able to drive themselves to the event, parents/guardians will be asked to drop their athletes off for check in and return to pick them up when their games are complete. Parents/guardians are welcome to remain in their cars on site, or leave the venue to spend the day elsewhere.
The showcase schedule will be structured to better accommodate this regulation. The schedule will be broken up into two blocks, one morning and one afternoon block. Each teams schedule will fall in one of those two blocks so that you are only asked to be on site for half of the day. This will also help to limit the number of athletes gathering at the facility at one time.
D3 Summer & Fall Showcase
Spectators are allowed at the D3 Summer and Fall Showcase.
Through EventBeacon, college coaches are able to pull up the rosters of each team playing, and view the SportsRecruits profiles of any athlete they choose. In order for all of your information to be listed in EventBeacon, you must complete your SportsRecruits profile.
FAQs
Team assignments and schedules will be released a week prior to the event. Jersey Assignments will told to the athletes at check-in on the day of the event.
All college coaches attending will be provided all of this information, including jersey assignments, 1-week prior to the event and updated immediately with any changes.
It is possible that your team assignment could change in order to keep teams balanced at each position should other athletes drop out of the showcase. However, once you are assigned a jersey number, it WILL NOT change.
You can request to be on the same team as another athlete. We will do our very best to accommodate these requests, but cannot guarantee it. Our number one priority is making sure that teams are balanced, and games are fair. Please email info@d3lacrosseshowcase.com to make a request.
We provide you with a D3 Lacrosse reversible jersey for the day. Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing. You will be playing on both turf & grass fields, so bring proper footwear. You must bring all necessary protective gear, along with any other lacrosse equipment you may need.
All venues have a snack bar selling water, gatorades, power bars, snacks, small food items, and coffee.
We highly encourage you to bring your own drinks and food as we cannot guarantee the snack bar will be open.
The general showcase schedule is:
7am-8am: Athlete Check-In
8am - 9:45am: Team Training
10am - 4pm: Games - 3 game guarantee
This is subject to change.
